Excerpts...
My Rock Scriptures:
I would like to share with you some inspiring words
from
Nelson Mandela's Inaugural Address:
Gigi, is there anything you would like to add or
share with us?
Yes, I'd like to share what gives me my strength...
Jeremiah 32:27
"Behold, I am the Lord the God of all
flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?"
1 Chronicles
4:10 Jabez cried out to the God of
Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be
with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God
granted the request.
Numbers 23:19,20 God
is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his
mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not
fulfill? I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I can not change
it.
Luke 13:11-13, And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen
years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her,
Woman , thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her and immediately
she was made straight, and glorified God.
Amen. Hallelujah!
"Our deepest fear is NOT that we are
inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our
light, not
our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be
brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not
being?
You are a child of The Most High God. Your playing small doesn't serve
the
world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people
won't
feel insecure around you. We are born to make manifest the Glory of God
that is
within us. It's not just in some of us, it is in everyone, and as we let
our own
light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we
are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates
others."
